"Whatever." he said, and plopped himself next to Diadec. He rolled up the map and stored it in a drawer before laying down on his side of the bed.

Diadec flipped over and gave.a.low sigh. He turned his head to strix.and began to think to himself. "Why am I following this thief, This criminal. Was it out of wanted a friend, To look for adventure or maybe for love." He quickly erased the thoughts from his mind and drifted off to sleep

That next morning, just as the sun was being put up into the sky, Strix awoke at once, reaching out to nudge Diadec with a hoof. "Hey sunshine, get up. We need to go." he said softly.

diadec opened his eyes quickly, they flashed green for a moment and changed back to normal. "Hmm morning already" he said hoping he didn't notice his eyes change

Luckily, Strix didn't notice. He was too excited. Leaping from the bed he quickly begn gathering his things. "Up! Up!" he urged enthusiastically.

The stallion trotted along, out of the little Western town, and along a beaten up dirt road. His yellow coat seemed to shine in the light of the sunrise and his eyes never radiated so much excitement until now.

He kept up the pace beside strix. He took a quick glance at him and was amazed. The way is coat shimmered, His trot, His eyes. They all seemed so....attractive to him

Pretty soon, he stopped. A good few hours had passed. "Wanna stop for lunch?" He asked. "I think I can find some berries and there are extra sandwiches in the saddlebags."
