Midnight sat at her throne within the palace signing off documents and land wants. There were bags beneath her eyes from sleepless nights away from home

Sonic caught her and balanced on one of his backhooves because the impact was so strong. He hugged back and put her down. "Oy. The love a mother can give. Good luck Storm!" Sonic ruffled his mother's mane. "He'll need it with the hugs he'll be receiving."
"You are so right about that." Night agreed and waved as his son left.
